Why enablement teams love Journeys in Continu

Journeys are powerful enough to handle any use case complexity; simple enough for anyone to use.

For Admins

Journeys is a learning design tool that flexes to your exact needs. Required vs. optional sections. Content equivalencies. Test-out options. Edit-after-publish. Every constraint you’ve ever had to engineer around, gone.

For Learners

Journeys is a visual flow of learning that drives better business outcomes.  Learners can easily understand what’s expected of them, and seamlessly complete what they need to.

"When you train a staff member and you get them going, you take them from zero to hero, you create the best experience for a shopper. I think that’s what the biggest ROI is. And Continu has been right by our side to help us."

Content types are almost endless: content created within Continu (including AI-generated content); content created with our content partners (e.g. Synthesia, Parta, Clueso); content imported into Continu (e.g. SCORM, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy); as well as Workshops, Courses, Labs and Assessments.

As flexible (or structured) as your use case requires

Create multi-modal engaging learning paths that inspire all users - or keep things locked down for certifications & compliance, when you don’t want to be flexible.

Certify learners upon Journey completion

Assign custom certificates when a learner completes a Journey, proving knowledge and expertise. Set up automations to re-certify them as soon as it reaches their expiration date.

Award your learners with certificates for creating certain Journeys, Workshops, or Assessments.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is a Journey different from just assigning a course?

A course is a single event. A Journey is a structured program that guides someone through multiple steps over time, adapting based on their progress, role, or assessment scores. Think of it as the difference between handing someone a document and actually walking them through it.

Do we have to manually enroll people into a Journey every time?

No. Journeys can launch based on CRM or HRIS triggers or part of an automated assignment. When a new partner signs up, a customer hits a milestone, or a learner changes tiers, the right Journey starts without anyone lifting a finger.

Can we build different paths for different types of partners or customers?

Yes. Journeys branch by role, partner tier, region, or assessment score. A reseller and an implementation partner can enter the same Journey and take completely different routes based on who they are and how they perform.

We run multi-month onboarding programs. Can Journeys handle that kind of structure?

That's exactly what Journeys are built for. You can drip content week by week across 30, 60, or 90-day programs, build in check-ins, and gate the next step until the previous one is complete. Long-form enablement runs on autopilot.

Can Journeys issue certifications once someone completes a program?

Yes. You can attach assessments and certifications at each level of a Journey. Learners earn credentials as they progress, and you get a clear record of who completed what, at what level, and when.

Turn enablement into expertise.

Journeys combine courses, content, and certifications into a structured path that builds real skills, not just completions.
